Hello, I am Shabba Blue Rose!
I’m an half French/half Spanish Burlesque Performer and one of the original Blue Rose Ibiza Dancers.
I’ve been a performer since 1996, travelled all around the word for my job, worked with fantastic people (even if not all of them became famous, enough did!) and decided to settle down in Cologne, Germany and share my experience with new up-coming artists as well as regular “girls next door” to help them rise to the next level.
Of course, after so long on stage, I developed my own specialities mainly in Burlesque and Pole Dancing, as well as a few side talents for fire shows, acting, make-up, costume design or model coaching.
I also collected lots of friends during those years, who have other talents and teach them as well in the studio or in their own place.
THE HOUSE OF BLUE ROSE:
The Blue Roses are the bruises you get along the way in life, the ones who make you stronger, the ones who are part of who you are… It’s a long way to find yourself, another long one to be able to reveal yourself, without fear or shame, just the way you want to be.
The House of Blue Rose already exist in an unofficial way since 2000, as a Make-over and Body-languages Studio in Cologne.
In the 2000’s, the Legendary Blue Rose Club in Ibiza used to welcome any burlesque performer, no matter their nationality, color, age, background or gender. If you were good or had potential, you could fire that stage every night.
Today, the former performers are teaching the next generation, not just to be an artist but to explore your own potential in your own way, with Tips & Tricks from the original sisters, support as a ear to listen and a shoulder to cry, classes to help you find which kind of girl you are and how to translate it into body-language, fashion, style…
The classes are designed for TS-TV-TG women, wherever they just started to find their way or they are already at it for some times. Actually, if you have found yourself, we’d be happy to have you as a kind of Godmother for our students, to share your experience with us. In the tradition of the American Ballroom Scene, the House of Blue Rose is a new home, where you can built your own family, share everything and count on each other.
This studio is covering 2 areas:
1 – The Femme School:
Being a woman is a lot of work, no matter if you were born woman or are still finding your way…
I learned lots of things (especially Make-up!) from a Drag Queen.
My Drag Mother Ruby was from Paris and influenced me a lot, publicly and privately.
It does not matter if you are born in a female body or not, it’s all about the packaging!
Unfortunately, you rarely can count on your own mum to show you the tricks, how to be feminine, how to dress to impress, how to walk like a panther, how to twist someone around a fantasy…
This is where I come in and expose the useful tricks of a Burlesque dancer for every-day-life.

2 – The Performer School:
You want to be a professional artist and need some help (performance concept, costume design & creation, character development, story telling, training, selling strategy, advertising, …):
My team and I can answer a lot of your questions and develop your talents in the direction you wish.
Be aware: it’s a lot of work and training, it does not come easy but it’s also really fun and rewarding!
